1. What This Warranty Covers
Installation-Related Issues:
- Workmanship defects from original installation
- Improper connections made during installation
- Code violations from original installation
- Installation-related electrical failures
Product Warranty:
We honor all manufacturer product warranties on the equipment we install. This includes coverage for material defects and product failures as defined by the manufacturer.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover (New Issues)
- Any electrical problems unrelated to original installation
- New electrical needs or upgrades
- Additional circuits or outlets needed
- Problems in different areas of the home
- Normal wear and tear
- User-caused issues
- Weather-related damages (except for specific surge protection claims)
- Changes required by code updates
- Third-party modifications
- Maintenance or service calls unrelated to original work
3. Warranty Terms
- Lifetime labor warranty on original installation only.
- The warranty is valid for the lifetime of the current owner’s residence at their current property.
4. Example Scenarios
✓ Covered
- EV charger stops working due to an original installation issue.
- A loose connection from the original installation.
- A product failure covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
✕ Not Covered
- New electrical issues in other parts of the home.
- Additional electrical needs.
- Damage from external factors.
- User modifications.
- Regular maintenance needs.
5. Claiming Warranty
- Contact Supersun Electrical Services.
- Describe the issue and its relation to the original installation.
- Provide original installation documentation.
- Schedule a warranty inspection.
- Receive an assessment to determine if the issue is warranty-covered.
6. Voiding Warranty
- Unauthorized modifications to the original installation.
- Third-party repairs to warranted work.
- Failure to report installation-related issues promptly.
- Misuse or abuse of installed systems.
